Serial Thief Arrested In Toms River For Second Time In Two Months, Police Say

A serial theft suspect in Toms River was arrested for the second time in about two months, authorities said.

Kristopher Fudali of Toms River was arrested on Wednesday, July 24, Toms River police Chief Mitchell Little said in a news release. Fudali's age was not mentioned.

Officers responded to a report of a man wearing a white T-shirt and khaki shorts trying to get into vehicles in a driveway on St. Regis Court at around 12:50 a.m. An officer saw Fudali sitting in a parked vehicle on Feldmus Lane. 

Fudali ran away into the woods but he was soon found in a retention basin. He was held in the Ocean County Jail and faced 14 charges including burglary and theft.

Fudali was previously arrested in May after an investigation into three vehicle burglaries in the North Dover neighborhood. He has been investigated and arrested several times in 2024 for fraudulently using credit cards stolen from vehicles.

Police said Fudali also had an active arrest warrant for vehicle burglaries that happened on Saturday, June 29. More charges are pending.
